This series of images were taken in Herbie’s studio/living space in North Robertson, New Orleans in 2015. After two years of internal and external struggle, Herbie was rewarded with a new surge of creative energy. He build these sculpture from horse bones he had acquired. This work was exhibited in New Orleans. A large wooden and metal boat sculpture stands by one of the main streets in New Orleans.
